Steering fluid??

Merry Christmas to all , I need to top up my power steering fluid and don’t know which one is suitable for my merc ?? I have a CLK 2007 auto any ideas please thanks loads Vicky

I would be inclined to check the circuit. PS fluid is not a consumable fluid, any sign of any leaks.

Also if you find a leak, get it fixed, then flush the system and refill with new.

Before we go on i do know this is about power steering fluids . But - I remember in the past old English cars had a brake systems made by just two makers Girling,, or Lockheed ,, and you could not use fluid made for the one type in the other. - If it was used, then it soon rotted the seals out in the brake and master cylinders . Or clutch master and slave cylinders . So i have had this in my mind for ages ...And all the fluids that i use in my old Mercedes are genuine Mercedes , all but the engine oil . You dont have to do what i do .
