Thanks for your prompt replies.
these are the original AMG rims which shod the car.
the balancing was done by a local tyre fitting service whilst changing the tyres

Sadly many firms are not good at balancing, if the car was fine before the new tyres , then it can only be balancing. Quick fit are not good at this.

When you can drive into the shake and out of it it always balancing

Sorry you will have to wait for someone from Ireland to answer that one. Some people can do it perfectly others cannot, its a mystery

Long shot I know but on a previous car I'd put aftermarket locking wheel bolts and the weight of them was enough to cause vibrations.

It could be that the garage you use has a fault in the balancing machine and have put the weights incorrectly. I am pretty certain that wheel balancing wont be any more than £5 a corner. You could go to another tyre place in/around your area and get them to check one of the wheels, if they manage to find any errors then you can get the whole set done.

As guys already explained above, its must be an error caused by your previous tyre shop. I would recomend just get another tyre shops opinion on it.

Hope this helps
