Steering Wheel Adjustment

Am I right in thinking there is NO steering wheel adjustment on my recently acquired CLK 200K W208 Nov 2000?

The manual shows an adjustment lever/knob, but I am blowed if I can find it.

Usually placed centrally under the column, recessed and wide enough to get 3-4 fingers into grip it. Pull down and towards you
