Steering Wheel controls - new Audio problem

Hi

Relatively new on here (hello:D!) with the need for some technical electronics advice

A long running saga, but all because I have (finally) got an IPOD I need to swap out the Becker 6021 Audio 10 head unit. No connecting there unless I splash 'loads' out on the Denison Kit:sad:

Only have a small budget for a 'nice to have' so have dropped from a rather nice Kenwood package to a Clarion unit (below)

http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-clarion-cz209er_p-24050.htm

Now I have a 10 way ISO connector on the head unit at the moment and the SWC control the Audio 10 changing the radio display and the dash display.

Does anybody know if the following kit is sufficient or is there another ECU connecting kit necessary to retain both these features?

http://www.connects2.com/c2search.aspx?catID=24&manID=219&modID=795

The 'chap' on the phone at c.a.c was a bit 'easy' on the details and confident without being reassuring.

Its a Feb 04 car on a 53 plate (pre facelift)

I do have a local ICE firm on the case, but they are snowed at the moment and following a freebie 1.5 hours already with them, I don't want to use up all my 'credit' by continually chasing them - so thought I would also ask on here.

I'm not the only member here (or on the other site) trying to swap out Audio 10 so the help and advice will have a wider benefit.

Many thanks, hope I strike lucky

PS, yes, I also need a harness, fascia adapter and an IPOD lead, but they are the easy bits

RSVP Guys (n' gals)

Funny although I am involved in electronics in the audio field, some of these car systems I have never played with in my life.

There are firms who know much more than I do about these things,,see what answers come in
