Steering wheel cost.

I'm looking for a newer or recond steering wheel for my 2001 E320 W210.

Mine is badly worn and looks horrible. I've been quoted £225 - £250 for a fresh leather/wood item from a breaker. Is this good value or not? The figure includes fitting. I just need the hub and rim, the airbagt centre with the multofunction buttons are fine.

Sounds about right but I would checkout ebay first you can get a new one for that price. Try;

Which models are interchangable is bit of a minefield, best email the seller

Try these people i bought a brand new W202 Black Leather Sport Steering Wheel in the Mercedes box £100.
They buy bankrupt stock and are also breakers so might be able to sort you out a 2nd hand one.

I worked out that it was more cost and time effective to visit PC Merc in East London (10 mins from my house) and have them install a barely used leather/wood wheel for £240.

Don't like getting my hands dirty, y'see. ;-)

So, what's a worn out W210 grey leather wheel worth to anyone?
