Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing a strange issue with my W212 recently. Over the past few days, when I start the car in the morning (with temperatures around 25-35°C), the steering wheel remains locked for about 2 minutes and 20 seconds. This is unusual because the ESL is disabled on my car.
What’s even stranger is that once the steering wheel finally unlocks, the car drives perfectly throughout the day. I can start and stop the car without any problems, and the steering wheel remains unlocked. This issue only occurs after the car has been off for 8-12 hours.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this problem? I have an appointment on Friday to have it checked, but I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions in the meantime.
