steering wheel W201/W124 interchangeable?

Will a steering wheel from a W201 190E fit a W124 230ce? I am led to believe it will?? Thanks in advance.

Yes will fit fine, but must be like for like, in terms of airbags. A non airbag wheel will cause a fault light on the dash, if your car was fitted with an airbag. But most 230's didnt have this option.

As far as I know, the steering wheels on most models from the late 70s, 80s and early 90s (assuming non airbag) are all interchangeable. I fitted a leather wheel from an R129 into my W123, and it had a W126 part number on the back.
