Stereo switch on volume

I have recently bought a 1998 C230K Estate which is fitted with a Blaupunkt Como RCM 148 Radio/Tape Stereo my question is, as I don't have a manual for the stereo, can someone tell me if it's possible to adjust the volume thats present when I turn on said stereo as I always have to turn up the volume when I first turn on and also if it is possible can you tell me how please Thanks in aticipation

I have a blaupunkt san remo

and you can set the volume. Search google for your model, and you should come up with Blaupunkt USA's homepage. I got a pdf version of the instructions from there.
