Hello,
Sometimes, more often after a long journey, it's difficult to get the ignition key out of the ignition. If more force than usual is applied to turn the key fully anticlockwise then the key can be removed however under normal circumstances there's no resistance. Any thoughts / comments would be welcome.

Probably tolerance build-up caused by heat transfer...

Locks always respond well to a good squirt of GT85 or some similar PTFE containing fix-all spray.

WD40 just evaporates after a few days..

Lock smiths and MB sell a white grease made for this problem, great care is needed with what you use, an incorrect oil/grease can make the pins stick, making the matter worse.
