I have raised this before and yet still having the problem My C230 with 7g box falters when depressing accelerator. When pulling away there is a definite"Lag" then when driving its almost like having a sticking throttle cable (as on old cars).
If I take it in to have it put on a Star Unit will that be able to determine what he problem could be, or what I should be looking at.

I have found what a MAF is, I shall get in touch with the dealer I bought it from and get him to have a look at the problem under the guarantee which runs out in a weeks time !!!
is there anything else I should make sure is checked as I will only get this one opportunity.
Regards

Do you need an MOT any time soon?

Some of the Merc Retail dealers are offering this (see their websites):

We are currently offering you 50% towards the cost of your MOT, meaning you will only be charged £27.00.

In addition to this, whilst your Mercedes-Benz is with us for its MOT test, you will also benefit from the following:
Complimentary Vehicle Healthcheck
Complimentary wash and vacuum
Complimentary Software updates and Safety Checks
50% voucher towards your next MOT

Cheapest way to get the software updates and codes read - and in your case a good way to get a list of "advisory work" before your dealer warranty ends?

(everyone will shout this is a dealership "fishing for work" exercise - I know it is but so what? You still get the software and error check done....)

Your warranty runs out in a week so you need to register the need for repair within that time - if he takes longer than that to fix it, that's not your problem.

Tele dealer today, seemed very approachable, its booked in for Star Diagnosis on Tuesday. To be on safe side I have confirmed my tele call with details in writing to the dealer so that it is a matter of record.

Update, Dealer been very helpful so far, but according to them nothing has shown up on Star diagnostics, nor on short road test. Going to take it for a long test to try and identify what could be the problem
Apparantly the hesitancy in changing gear is a characteristic of the 7G box. Anyone able to confirm if they have experienced similar characteristics and what they have done? Live with it!! I think not.
If they cannot find any way of solving the problems, what can I do?
