Me and the Bread Knife went out in the SLK yesterday and while she was parking the car in a mutli story and just after the rear wheels came down off a speed ramp, she turned hard right at slow speed when the car lost drive.

The instrament lights didn't come on and the car was just coasted at about 4/5 mph not responding to any throttle imput for around 20/30yards, then suddenly it started to move under it's own power and all was normal, any ideas? :???:

Do you think the combination of speed hump and right lock, might have upset the stabilty control into thinking it was about to crash, or am I just talking BS.

If you ever have problem what was the last thing that was touched...

'Just had that changed by MBS'

When I say just, I mean 1500 miles ago

I suppose I need to buy a special dipstick to check the level?

Talking to Cole last night, with a non rigid body and that speed hump could have just moved the box from drive,, low fluid could not be the problem here and I think it was just a one off thing...Low fluid would have given other faults when driving

Thanks for your reply, It's been fine ever since. if it had moved the box from drive would it also reengage, because the missus didn't touch the selector?

Just curious

Yes I have done something similar in my SL when going over uneven ground leaving the last meet in Cornwall, I was taking lulu for a spin, after going over a few uneven humps I lost all drive for a few seconds
