Hi all

First post here and I'm not great with cars so be gentle...

We've got an old shape A140 automatic and it's done us proud. My wife noticed yesterday that an odd rattling sound has appeared when driving at low speeds on the front passenger side.

It sounds like there's a stone caught in the wheel but this seems not to be the case. I concerned that it might be a bearing or suspension problem. I don't suppose anyone has any advice before we take the car to the garage?

Cheers

Hi mongose

Hopefully it only requires the replacement of the anti-roll bar drop links about £10 each plus 1 hours labour. Its a known A class problem

As above. Always best to add your area if you have a problem, as there are so many people on here who could point you in the right direction of a good independent garage who specialize in Mercedes.
