Struggling to start when engine is warm

Any ideas? And please explain as you would talk to a child

C class 1.8 petrol 2002

Have quite many issues, but starting with this one

When engine is cold, starter spins a second and starts. When engine warms up every time it’s getting harder to start. Feels like not catching fuel..

I’m driving for a living, a lot of stops and starts.
In the end of the day it takes up to half a minute to start

Get a fuel pressure test first . Could be fuel filter ,,and when did you last have the ht side replaced plugs coils etc ? also this =
