Just thought I'd pass on a recent experience - dare I say that I was looking to trade in my 52 Reg S500 at a Honda dealer (more curiosity and possible downsizing), to my surprise they would not make an offer on my MB for a p/x - they stated that none of their "contacts", which included 2 MB dealers, were interested. Apparantoly one of the MB dealers said that they would probably be looking at a value of 10K but even at that they were not interested !!!!!


Never mind, I suppose there are many worst cars to be stuck with !

Do not believe what you are told, what ever car you are trading in is the one not wanted by them or by anyone in the trade, even if it was a Honda it would have been the model that no one wanted. Thats the motor trade.

Have to gree with you although this is the first time that I have actually not received any offer (no matter how low) before getting out of the showroom !!
