I've just ordered the front bushes for the rear sub frame on my R230 with the intention of doing the job myself. Whilst browsing e Bay I came across this relatively cheap kit for bush replacement on S211. The same bushes are listed for the S211/W211 as the R230. I'm thinking that the kit might work for the R230 or be able to be modified to work. I messaged the seller, he says to decide myself. I was going make a fitting tool myself anyway, this might be easier time wise. Anyone any thoughts? Screenshot_20190310-105453.jpg

Like you say, you can probably make it work, may have to drop the subframe on both sides at once, instead of once side at once.

None of the guides or threads show ABC cars being worked on, but nobody mentions anything about extra precautions either. I was toying with disconnecting the lower strut mounts to keep them out of the equation.

Best to check wis, but I would doubt you get enough space without disconnecting them!

Keep in mind, most of the tool makers instructions will be wrong lacking info etc.

For the sake of two extra bolts I will probably just disconnect them.
