The tilt/slide modes need adjusting. Does anyone know how the white adjusting wheel works? Do I pull it out, adjust a small amount or spin it loads then push it back in? The two words Heben and Senken "raise and lower" are marked on the wheel. Any help very much appreciated.

Th white knurled knob is an adjustment wheel - it's the hex thing that's the manual winder

The adjuster pulls out to set the end stop. From memory this is how to adjust it: close the roof and look at where it sits. It could be too far back (so there's a gap at the front) or too far forward (so it's started tilting). Pull out the adjuster & run the roof forward or back a short way as appropriate. Push the adjuster back in, try opening & closing the roof again and see if you've improved the situation. Repeat until you have the endstop set correctly

Turning the adjuster does nothing. It needs to be pulled out to disengage it while you reposition the roof and re-engaged afterwards

my thoughts as nick's post above, unusual for it to need adjusting in normal service though - could be a broken mechanism at one side if it is not popping up into the closed position.

If the roof slide has suddenly adjusted itself so that it stops in tilted open or not quite slid shut the winding drum in the motor assy is a suspect.

Thanks for all your replies. I've nearly managed to sort it by hit and miss with the white wheel. Television, could you mail me a pdf to see if I can get it exactly right? I can then post my results on here for everyone to read.
Thanks again.
