These used to be all the rage and I remember seeing quite a few W124s with them. I had one on a Peugeot 505 Gti, which looked very dashing and matched the paint job perfectly. I never did decide if it performed any function!

my hope is the noise level will drop but if not it might look retro cool. but if it's not going to fit then it's going on the wifes car ............. i might stick some photos on & put it up for a vote

I'm tempted too. With the sunroof slid back (Mine won't tilt....) I get lots of wind vibration through the car unless the window is also open-I think these are supposed to minimise that effect....maybe.....

They do stop the buffeting that can set up at speed

I usually get some wind noise, when the sunroof is open, around 120mph. I wonder if one of those would solve the problem.

it's fitted just as it got dark but it's looking good so only the test drive to do if i can find a big hill then go for the 120

well it's on & i like it. it is not hard to fit & it works at m-way speeds & beyond

well only one screwdriver & two screws that go into the brackets provided with the thingy & as ALex said i did it & i have a 2nd for the wifes car so i might ask her to fit it

Seen on many cars - I have two on the shelf in spares shed for my Capri's. The ones I have are a brown tint whereas yours looked grey/blue. I pass a modern Toyota or is it Mazda (they all look the same) regularly on way to work .
