Suspension hydraulic leak

I have 2000 advantegarde E320 estate (97K)and have a small hydraulic leak under nearside back door. I assume that this is from a pipe to the leveling system as I noticed the hydraulic reservoir on the right facing the engine is just under minimum. (the brake reservoir is fine) There are 5 or 6 lines running to the rear of the vehicle but a cover plate stops any inspection. Are there any connections at this spot or is it that a line is worn or rusted through. Please forgive the layman terms as I am not a mechanic and have no facility's except a jack of raising the car. I just wondered if my assumption was correct and besides the obvious of replacing the line was there any other things to investigate.
Any advice would be appreciated

The high points of the pipes are in the engine bay and under the rear axle. So if fluid is tracking along the pipework the leak might be anywhere but dripping at a low spot

I would expect there to be no pipe joins except to the reservoir, pump, height corrector & suspension legs

Corroded brake, fuel & suspension pipes are the #1 cause of MOT failure where I live. As you suspect, you may have a corroded pipe, but you'd need to get the car up in the air to see what's going on

Thanks for your response I knew that I had to get the car up but wanted to know if there were any more faults to possibly check for. Thanks again
