It begs the bquestion what are you trying to acheive ?
A good ride or good handling.
You have to be careful its easy to ruin a good set up and end up with thumping over cats eyes, Tramlining tyres, all sorts of other knocks and vibrations, unhealthy tyre wear on new wide low profile boots that will need renewing in an alarmingly short time .
Obviously the sportline is MB's attempt to do this and It might be the route to replace to this spec or buy a good sportline .... it might be cheaper and easier in the long run.
These cars are good but are not known for their nimbleness re changing direction / quick turn in Ball Peg steering means the turn in will never be like a BMW.
Same Goes for the engines great / smooth but not the most powerful.
Are you trying to make it something it will struggle to be ???
