Hello guys/gals,

My MB dealer has replaced the complete lower arm and anti roll bar set up (both sides) under extended warranty on my 2004 W211 E320. Good news. Bad news is that there is still an slight knock when I go over my slighty raised block paved drive edge. It appears to be from the offside and occurs when the wheels are turned as I swing onto the drive from the roadside. Any ideas before they have another look this Thursday? Could it be steering gear related because the wheels are turned?

Many thanks,

John

ps Birmingham to Scotland at a pace.....nearly 40mpg
Scotland to Birmingham at a more relaxed pace......nearly 50mpg.

What a great power/torque/economy mix :p

Hi John, its normally the roll bar links and bushes when on near full lock, but as you say they have been replaced, the bottom swivel joint comes to mind, but a hard one to find maybe
