Suspensions Straps

Hi everyone,

Does anybody know what Suspensions Straps are? and what cause them to fail?

Mercedes dealer had to fit a new steering rack before 2 month because of some noise when steering. And now I can hear another clicking noise when steering, I took it back to the dealer and they said that they have to change the Suspensions straps.

My car is only two years old!

A new one on me and I have never heard the expression, I await from those that know with interest too

Sorry, maybe he said Struts and I thought he said Straps.
