I have a recently purchased W210 220 CDI, which is in a limp mode. I am not sure why, but during my troubleshooting process I discovered the swirl flap motor is not there, and the flaps have been removed, holes plugged with bolts. I understand the motor should be attached to fool the vehicle, but the funny thing is it was running fine when I bought it. Anyway, I would like to make a mockup with some kind of a resistor to fool the ECU as if the motor is there. Does anybody have specks for the unit? I guess, since it has a three led plug, one would be 12v, the other would be ground, and the third would be a feedback to the ECU with reduced voltage to report the motor is running.
