Hi All

I am sending this email as the Son-in-Law of a renowned member of the group DIYMAN (David Smith) who spent many years loving this site and talking to me fondly about the problems that you all helped him solve with his Mercedes - sadly David passed away back in December and I have been meaning to put a message onto the group thanking you all for the "banter" and chat as well as the support you all gave him and also I know he gave plenty of advice in return as he had been a Mercedes owner for 40+ years owning various different models.

Sadly his Mercedes is sat on the driveway and if anyone is looking for a car please message as I will keep logging in and checking the account... The car is a 2003 E270cdi 2.7l 5cyl, The car has only done 87K from new and has always been looked after - sadly it has no MOT as this has now expired but please drop a message if you would like any info or if anyone wants a cheap car....

Once again many thanks to everyone on the group as honestly it brought David so much joy - he often sent me through jokes that he got from here and relayed stories with fondness.
