Does anyone have a reasonable suggestion to keep my next door neigbours car from sleeping on the car bonnet in the driveway?
I don't possess a garage.:(
I have noticed a couple of light scratches made in the last day or two and know its that bl00dy cat.

It has been kipping on the wifes car for a long time and enjoys the heat from the engine and she doesn't mind, but I do when its my car. I don't want to hurt the cat, but really put it off of getting on the bonnet and clawing it. There is no point at all mentioning it to next door as she can't control where her cat goes.

If I can catch it with the hose pipe a few times that may deter it. Any more suggestions?

Pepper, they hate the stuff, maybe a dusting around the garden and drive might keep it away from your house?

Can't see that working with all the rain we are having Matty, but something to try when there is a dry spell.

Thought you meant me for a minute...

Water pistols (with water in) work, no idea about the high frequency deferents - my neighbours have them and I dislike the sound but I don’t think they put them out for me...

Give your car a cover and the cat will keep it clean for you.
Works for me

I tried all the humane methods with a neighbour's cat who decided to use my garden as a toilet and terrorise my fish, none of which worked but I found it soon got the message when I started using a blunt instrument, now we have a healthy respect for each other, you simply have to communicate with them at their level, and with a stick.

Seriously, I bought the cover for about £50 used it for the last 2 years keeps it dry in all but torrential storms, ice, snow and droppings and I may take it on an off twice a day in a couple of minutes.

Chilli powder and a Super Soaker water pistol.
I plugged one of those electric plug socket things into the extension lead the CTec runs off. Had a mouse chew some rubber on my 129 whilst in hibernation a few years back, plugged one of these in and ain’t seen one since. Could have done with your neighbours cat, two birds with one stone eh.

Just let it know who’s boss and that it ain’t welcome
