The lack of Maybachs disappoints me! :p

When I'm rich, I'll have a garage like that, with all those cars, just wait and see! :D

The lighting seems a bit photo-shppy in some of the pictures, but who am i to complain. I can get a lawn mower and an sl in my garage, and only have to contort myself like an india-rubber man to get in and out.

i know the feeling. dads garage has enough room for the trailer, assorted junk, 3 workbenches covered in junk, a new suite for the downstairs loo he's having made, shelves full of junk, his 203, and my 210 when i visit. only thing is i cant get out the drivers door coz of the box with the toilet in!

Floor space

The average house in the UK (that is the one occupied by mum and dad on a salary of£25,000 pa and with 2.4 children) has a floor area of 600 square feet.

It would be interesting to guess how many such homes you could fit into some of these garages (the cars also enjoy better heating and lighting).

It is good to see how some of the fabulously wealthy (overpaid?) cope with the problem of excess money. It can't be easy for them.

Countries such as Darfur and Somalia do not seem to have these issues.

Very true Alex. I was developing a property in Chelsea a few years back and one of the homes nearby had a garage buried in the front garden. Chap didn't want to park his Mac F1 on the street so spent hundreds of k's doing this.

There's actually a house near me, the owner of which has a Ferarri and LOADS of other cars, which has a driveway that opens up to a underground space where the cars are all parked.

It boggles my mine, to realize someone has that much money to devote and accomodate to their dream cars. There is not one here who wouldn't do the same thing, IF it wasn't a matter of the money.
What an experience!!!!!!
