It’s the other way round, it’s actually a Hyundai with the back end of a Continental cut n shut on ;)

The stupid thing is, if I stick an AMG badge on my non-AMG car, the only people I'm likely to try and impress are those people that don't understand what AMG cars are. Those that might be impressed, would quickly identify that the car is not a true AMG (thus identifying me as a dick)?????

But it gives it an extra 80bhp at least - cheaper than a remap :D

Well now I've had the remap and gained an extra +57hp I think I might need to get me one of them AMG badges
You should get familiar with your current power first, the badge might just make it undrivable in all but perfect conditions. :D

The “modification” could also severely impact your insurance premium. Might only be specialty high performance brokers that would cover you :rolleyes:

Just don’t declare the AMG badge though, that’s a serious modification :p
I do wonder if the insurance company wouldn't pay out if your AMG badged car was stolen because it was an undeclared modification that made it more desirable to thieves :rolleyes:

Many on here would argue it should reduce premiums making the car totally undesirable even to thieves

You would have to keep it very quiet and assert that the thieves stuck the badge on if the car was recovered.

Holy BM Trinity of M Badge, AC schnitzer and Alpina wheel centres :D:p perhaps he couldn't get a replacement "D" badge so had to get an "M" instead:rolleyes:... MOT history makes interesting reading:D

I'm a particular fan of the rattle can finish :p
