we all know how much it costs to insure our cars but guess what (here in Sweden at least) if you own an old (20-30 years old car) merc, you can join a Veterans car club and get full car insurance for it for 50 quid for one year.

do they offer this coolness in the UK as well ?

oh and as a side bonus, cars over 30 years old are TAX free and only need the MOT every 2 years

Yep my RR cost me next to nothing in Sweden, I believe that my RR only needed one MOT for life, it was 70 years old

Sweden does have many good things going for it,,Do I move back there,,it depends on the housing market in the UK

Im pretty sure that the UK has the classic insurance thing and the £5 tax for cars over 25yrs mot is still every year and i do think they were talking about changing it..
