The lowest price here in Brissle 9my bit) is 93P Litre.
How much further can it rise ?
To what do people atribute the increase ?
Are we likely to see further fuel protests or has the evironmental smoke
screen killed that off?

Happy CLK Driver with empty wallet

I was paying 101.9 pence when the price went up last year, it's currently at 98.9.

The fuel protests 6/7 years ago the price was at 79.9.

The whole thing is crazy.
P.S. These are all deisel prices

Unlike Shylock, Gordon always has to have his two pounds of flesh at least.

(I am of course referring to Bill Shylock who lives down the road and is a picky eater, and my cousin Gordon who likes his steaks real big. There is nothing political in this post:D :D Honest!)

Fuel prices are like interest rates

You can't control either as they are influenced by more global goings-on, and it's pointless getting het about it. The fuel blockades of 2000 were an exercise in the utterly pointless, run by the utterly senseless, and followed by the utterly gullible. Surely people have more intelligence than that.

As with all things, you pays your money and you takes your choice. As soon as a journey to the shops in your own car costs more than a taxi ride, then we'll see a market schism, no doubt.

That said, can't say I was overjoyed to pay 105.9p for BP Ultimate yesterday, but hey, you takes your choice.
