Not sure these will come through but.....

Painted the rear chrome arch covers today. Hate chrome arches but temp hide the rust on the rear arches until spring. Need to finish them off with 1500 wet then lacquer them but look ok. Have ground out the worst of the rust on the rear of the rear arch and treated them with rust converter and covered in hammerite, so hopefully that will slow the rusting for now.

And apologies if this should be in the body section, it just started out as putting on some pics!!

Looks like stevie wonder washed it though - I should concentrate.... had already washed 2 by the time it was done so bored!

Need to clean and smarten the leather a bit as well.

But on the whole, it has worked out well.

Still can't figure out why it was being sold as :

"The car developed a problem which led to it stalling and refusing to restart until the engine was cool. This problem increased in frequency till it became impossible to drive."

Perhaps it doesn't get hot enough during m 8 mile commute, although it did do a whopping 26 miles on Thursday there without any issues....
