hello, been loosing coolant for last 2 wks, could not find any indication until today. Traced to the thermo top heater unit under the wheel arch. Looks expensive, didnt even know it was there. Water is leaking around the support bracket-looks like corrosion. Anybody any experience repairing/replacing?

Sorry very hard to find and be sure, it seems to be some kind of heat exchanger, looks like £100 pounds worth to me, but who knows, only MB, I am afraid, sorry that I could not be of much use.

Webasto make auxiliary heaters, not fitted on many cars in the uk If it is one of these and you do not use it, it could probably be by passed, its a stationary heater, think I am right on this, very hard to find info.
