Thermostat Location on CLK 320 (208)

Hi

Engine Fan om NY CLK 320 is allways on and at very high speed, i was thinking of changing the Thermostat as it might be faulty. Problem is that i don't know where the thermostat is located.

Can someone please tell me or send me a diagram of it's whereabouts?;

Is your engine actually overheating, it may be that the fan switch is faulty.

that the thing has a viscous fan. Can these couplings go kaput?

Sorry my mistake ,I agree it could be the coupling has locked up. If this is the case have it fixed as soon as possible as the fan will be running at engine speed and is not designed to spin above 4000rpm.
It seems to be the season for this I have answered umpteen posts on this in the last week.
