Hi sorry to bother those in the know again .....
i went to change my thermostat on my 1999 E300TD today ..undid the two trx bolts on the thermostat housing , loosened the rubber hose, then took of the housing...but i am stumped i cant get the thermostat out!!... it looks like it is part of the pipe/housing itself....i have changed many thermostats in the past but i have never came across this...am i missing something??...i dont really want to force anything and break the housing.....any suggestions or have i been supplied the wrong thermostat...it came loose with large rubber washer , which i might add does not fit the recess in the housing......oooo the joys of motoring....lol
