No I will still stay on the forum as I did before when we sold our first Mercedes and bought a VW Golf. This is a forum for people who enjoy Mercedes cars, you don't have to own one to be a member, although I guess it does help :p

It would not surprise me, once Keith has gone through his obsession with the Porsche, for us to be buying another Mercedes, although I would insist on a convertible next time :D

Looks like somebody is going to get a bargain, very clean car at a competitive price.

I agree with the comments on the previous page, it might be worth trying webuyanycar.com. Also, have you thought about ringing up a few Mercedes dealers to see what they would give you for it?

Selling privately is time consuming and carries lots of risks.

Lynn.
Surely you would get that for it on webuyanycar.com They gave me 12K for mine , same spec but saloon, but 06, but 11,00 on clock, but C.180
Have you run it on their website quote ??

I've just tried them for a laugh with my 500SEC. They offered me £125 for it. I might have to sleep on that offer and get back to them!!!

Recently sold the wifes Citroen C1, offered £3800 for part ex on an SLK, £4000 on Webuyanycar.com and finally sold for £4100 on an ebay 3 day sale.
I did research webuyanycar on t'tinternet, very mixed messages, you have to accept that some folks do have a very unrealistic idea of 'showroom condition' sometimes.
However as yours certailnly appears to be 'les balons du chien' it would be worth a try tho' You can always drive away if they mess you about.

I can't, it's been on too long, perhaps an admin could kindly do it for me ;)

And though you may get a smidgen more with a private sale webuyanycar.com does solve the spondooliks problem of not being able to accept cheques, Bank Drafts being dodgy and big brown envelopes stuffed with wads of notes attracting unwelcome attention.
They only trimmed me back on price slightly and that was because I had made an error on the age (06 not 56). But the proceeds were in my bank by direct transfer noon next day. Well worth a small saving.
