I finally have fixed most of my problems on my W124. Big thanks to the forumers! I have one last thing to do.
I’ve changed my oils and filters + sparg plugs around 10k kilometers ago. I’ll be changing them again next week when I have access to a garage again. I’ll have the garage for myself for 5 days or so, so I’ll have plenty of time to do a thorough maintenance for it, to have it running like it was intented to run from the factory.
What should I do, besides the obvious fluid and filter changes and spark plugs? I want to make sure the car really runs optimally.

Use genuine parts all the way. Dont skimp
My W124 was on mobil 1 0-40 from day 1 and was sweet as hell.
Glad you are making progress to keep a lovely car on the road!

Any more tips? I’d really like to get it as close to ”factory spec” as possible.

The first thing I would do is change the distributor cap and rotor arm, these items do a lot of work and are a common failure of cars in that era (ask me how I know, lol)
