hi guys, ive fell in love with this car and the only thing ringing alarm bells is that its had 6 previous owners, would that bother you?

its higher than average mileage but i dont mind that as it has 2 years warranty and in 2-3 years i will add less than 10k to the total mileage.

Odd as I was always told average mileage is 10k per year so pretty much spot on for a 7 year old car...

Number of owners on a high performance car isn't generally an issue - the owners tend to get bored quickly and move onto something new

probably not lol
I've used the Mercedes warranty quite a few times and never had an issue - yes, they now charge you a diagnostic fee first (which you'll get back if Mercedes HQ authorise the work) but it's still better than any aftermarket one I've come across

are they pretty roomy inside? im just over 6ft 8 and not a lightweight either.

spoken to the dealer, he is sending me through the service history etc and a walk around video showing any stonechips etc.

already looking at mods for it, cant help myself lol. black grill would be a nice addition along with a front splitter and some lowering springs

6'8" my god man, what did your mom feed you?
My son is 6'2" and sits in my E comfortably, couldn't comment on taller - but hope it fits.
The seats whilst not particularly sexy looking compared to others available today (like in my F90) the E-Class seats and AMG ones are extremely comfortable no matter how heavy or light you are...they really are good.
Mods - its an E63 man, it don't need to be made to look tacky...it already exudes class and performance as it is...

what did my mum feed me.............everything lol

im sure i will fit, ive been in impreza's for the last 10 years and they are built for 5 foot japs :)
dont want to make it look tacky although that chrome trim will need to be de-chromed. just a few subtle changes to suit my taste.
im guessing things like brakes and servicing will cost an arm and a leg though

The V8 does that... ;) the springs won't improve the ride and the splitter will get smashed off on the first speed cushion or car park.

Brakes and servicing are not cheap in comparison to a c200 but they are not bad - for example and not-MB but my M5 brake fluid change at the main dealer was approx. £90..

when i was looking into f10 m5 ownership i was warned about the dreaded M-tax, brake discs were ££££ but its to be expected i suppose.

Brakes are expensive but not as bad (MB & BM) as their carbon ceramics, whilst they do last longer and don't get as dirty, they cost the price of a new small family hatchback to replace - hence I didn't opt for carbon brakes...

Sorry to hear that - if you are not in a rush there will be others that come up - and more frequently at the moment as people jump on the high values band wagon currently...

the only other one that takes my fancy is this one but with it being a 2012 car i would be worried about timing chain issues
