With the money you save from the other more expensive (sold) car compared to this - you could possibly just get the timing chain changed as soon as you bought it, then you have peace of mind...its a lovely looking car, looks like mine except mine doesn't have the AMG trinkets...

Is it a genuine S model do you think?

Don't feel too sad the car sold. It was basic spec with high ish miles for a 14 plate and top price.
Two months ago, E63's were fetching £2k more than today. Prices are now dropping and I'd expect that car to be closer to £25.5 -£26k in any dealership outside of Mercedes. That warranty is worth over £5k if you had to buy it from them. (Its £2850 pa)

Do you have to have an estate?
Far more choice with saloons and they are a bit cheaper than wagons.

Edit. The white one isn't an S model. Just an ebay knock off badge inside. No monogrammed headrests or S on the cluster. Silver calipers also denote a non S model.

thanks buddy, no it doesnt have to be an estate but ive always had a thing for a fast estate (comes from growing up watching btcc with the securicon volvo back in the day)
i would say it has to come from a dealership though with a warranty, dont think i would consider a private sale.

Fair comment. Obviously a premium on the price from a main dealer, but that warranty is worth a lot of money. Aftermarket warranties elsewhere aren't worth buying in my experience.
It's a big chance buying privately unless you have an inspection and full main dealer or specialist history beforehand and a wedge put aside for any unknown problems.
Good luck with your search.

As I always say and try to personally do too - is don't fret when buying cars if the one's you look at get sold, the car buying experience is exciting and sometimes unless you are desperate, it can be real fun even if it does take a while - I suggest you enjoy the experience because to me its as exciting as owning the car...when you browse classifieds, all those possibilities and thoughts of driving this or that go through your head...its fun...enjoy it....

Too picky…;)

Here‘s another MOT failure…;) What’s the paintwork like under the wrap… that’s one of the reasons people don’t want wraps secondhand

It is mind boggling good - poised, agile for its size and weight, and blisteringly fast - the BHP figures BMW quotes are (as others have said) extremely conservative....the best car ever coming out of Munich...and that is saying something!
