As most c’class from 2009 are around £4,000 this one is very expensive.

MOT history shows mileage looks correct, but also highlights a lack of usage with perished and cracked tyres and corroded discs. There could be a great deal of items that will require replacement because of a lack of use. Exhaust system could be rusted out for one.

It’s a 10 years old C180 it’s not worth £10k

That is worth a look. It promises to be a peach. The text say's its leather trim, just be mindful that it may well be Artico which is basically vinyl. Mine says in the build sheet that it is leather but is in actual fact Artico. That shouldn't really be an issue as it is reported as only having covered 6,000 miles though. Still worth a look. Looks nice. :) I would agree though that it is over priced :(

You could get 2 of them with 50k Miles for the same price....

Wonder if it’s had 9 services?

For the last few years, it has barely done 200 miles a year and that cannot be good for the car. With that in mind, it is certainly overpriced.

Looks pretty much base spec too.
(And the ad states it's faux leather).

At least the cam sprockets won't have had a chance to wear.....

Would those issues be a problem though. Where as I generally agree with what you have said it still has had a regular service, almost. The advisories are generally only for perished tyres, which would have been replaced and corroded brake disc's through lack of use. Nothing major at all, I assume the brakes have been dealt with as that is 2 years ago. Something you would need to check before committing yourself. Personally I always go for the low mileage examples, Mine was 5 years old when I bought it and had only done 20,000 miles and has had no issues at all in the two years that I have had it. I think it is certainly worth a look, whether the car would come at the right price is another issue

I think low mileage is a fallacy, short journeys where the car never gets up to temperature is never a good thing.

Sitting for mile after mile at full working temperature with the engine around 2,000 revs on the motorway is infinitely better. School run and short run commuting wears out cars much more than the ones sat on the motorway.

You Used to be able to see it clearly with a petrol cars exhaust pipe. Very dirty on short runs but after a good few hours on the motorway it would be clean as a whistle.

An old neighbour had new brakes and exhaust within 2 years on his brand new car as he only drove it down to the shop and back. I think he did less than 3,000 miles in a year in it. Battery had to be replaced as well as it had died from lack of charging.

Must admit I like low mileage cars! Had a few and never been a problem with them. As others have said the price is too high but typical of a dealer who thinks he's sitting on a gold mine. If it was a rare car it would be a different matter perhaps.
