Three pointed star retro fit

Hi

I have a 2017 E220 AMG Line estate. I saw another Merc (same year/estate) with a raised (bonnet) three pointed star and thought it looked really good.
I am thinking of getting one. However, Mercedes in Edinburgh told me it wasn't possible to retro fit these on newer cars. Help!

Do you have the star in the Grille? If so Double badging ones Mercedes is a big faux pas

German spec cars have no badge on the grille and a bonnet mounted badge.

Get the radiator grill from Europe without the star then add the “bomb-sight”

It‘s what I would have done with mine if it hadn’t been a company car

I'd double badge just to show I don't care what others think, if I did i might drive a Prius...
