Throttle Pedal Click

Hi all,

When I press the throttle pedal on my W210, there is an audible clicking sound just as it is being press. It also makes a similar click when fully released. This can be felt by my foot at the same time. It is very annoying, does anyone have any experience of such a fault (assuming that it is a fault). It's a 200 Kompressor with a manual box.
Also I have noticed that when cold, you can hear and feel a crunch between 1st and 2nd gear. This seems to happened even if the shift is not rushed, it seems to get better once it has warmed up. Any ideas folks?

if your gearbox is 716.6 up to trans number 1209959 the mod is to reduce the oil level 716.639 reduce by 1.2 litre 716.640 reduce by 1.5 litre

I think I have the same with my Coupe manual gear box. I thought it was my driving! The crunch between 1st and 2nd is really painful I feel for the car.

Yes its the same mod for your car, problem worse when cold.

Mine has a sticky 1'st/2'nd when cold but fine when warmed up. I was going to get the gearbox oil changed when service time comes, will this fix it and if so what would be the best oil @130k??
