The car has done 28000 miles and drives perfectly apart from tickover in drive is uneven and also in park is uneven as well. It is also quite heavy on fuel, doing about 17 mpg on short journeys. The coil pack has been changed and an air mass sensor, but still it is no good. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like it needs some diagnostics running on it, was the air flow an original Bosch part or an alternative?
If you unplug the air flow with the engine running, assuming its faulty, it will stall the engine, if its a good meter then it wont.
