ok guys i just wanted to let all the forum know that sadly i will be parting with my w202 c180 and i will miss her sadly.

During our time and discussions within the forum i can honestly say the feeling i got from owning and driving this car made me feel so superior i never had that pride in any of my other cars and will possibly never have it again.

Would i buy another Benz i am not sure, i like my classic shapes and the new trendy trends dont fit me.

Although the car was lovely to own i can honestly say i always dredded that day when sonething failed
first it was the alarm module whiched tripped the indicators everytime
then it was the viscous coupler
then the fan blade and they all hurt when i had to put them right

the remedies such as the carrot definately made me laugh but hey it proved the people know the truth and not the dealers

Saying something positive, i bought this car from a distant family member in Nov05 paid £2200 exactly 3 years of motoring later Nov08 i have managed to sell it for £1800
thats a depreciation of £133.33 per year which has got to be praised.

what i go to next i have no idea, all i know is the in TEXAS my wife is fancying a dodge truck and i am just in awe at all the vehicles available there.

Please feel free to offer your sugestions and a BIG BIG thank you to my wife for buying this car for me.

also a quick mention to the forum and thanks to television for some much money saving advice and the people on it will be hard to forget for help and advice.

i am gonna say one more thing and that is
take care and y'all have a great day.

Paresh21272 now a ex benz owner.

All the VERY best for the future - who knows? the marque may very well be part of your life again, sooner than you think!

I know exactly how you feel - I've had two - a 1988 w202 - the best car I've ever had & a 2004 w2003 - which turned out to be the least reliable car I've had in the last 20 years - a million miles less reliable that the ford focus that preceded it
Would I have another - much as I love them, short of a lottery win probably not

First of all good luck, secondly dont buy American built vehilces, from some one who has worked on them and spent some time there I strongly advise you to stay away from yank vehicles. There engineering is way behind us and further behind German and Jap stuff. They did not go to the moon, from what I've seen of there trucks it would be impossible. I'm convinced it was disney funded, there trucks are.
