To the dark side

Hi

After many years of Mercedes ownership have decided to venture to the dark side - have just part exchanged my Merc C Class 350 2008 for a BMW Series 1 M140i 2017 with only 9000 miles on the clock, metallic mineral grey with oyster leather interior - first impressions excellent hatchback. This is not to say I wont be back! got a very good deal from Listers BMW in Boston.

Have you tested the indicators yet? Just remember that if you use them no-one will believe your intention to turn, they'll just assume you're not aware they're on!!

Hope you enjoy it. You may be visiting your dentist more often to get your fillings replaced as the ride on an M BMW is going to be much harsher than your old Mercedes.

I think we could all compromise ourselves and have a look at some pictures if you post them

I think the M cars are “fitted for but not with” indicators

I like the idea of an M140i too - to replace the Jazz, would you believe (we are getting too sensible). Particularly as you can get light coloured interiors like 'Oyster'. My other half says Golf R though... Impasse.

Indicators are fitted for optional use..

I was shocked tonight, Audi passed me, then this strange orange led kept winking at me before sliding from passing lane into my lane just in front of me, I'm fairly certain the Audi fantsed me

Nice cars, 1 series just too small for me. I've been in the M140i before, much harder ride, but I suppose that's the point.
