...Got the letter months ago, but you know how it is...

'Twas the crank sensor campaign... They replaced it, and also updated the 7G-tronic software at the same time. I didn't think I had a problem, but I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the gearbox now!!! It had a slight habit of being a touch jerky as it changed down to 1st gear when moving slowly in traffic stop-start - not so much that I ever felt worried about it at all, and I am pretty picky!!, but now it is a smooth as silk!!!! Don't know how they have done it, whether they flick the throttle slightly to match the engine revs to the gear, or if they slur the change a bit in the box, but it is brilliant!!!

We have had very good reports on the last update, with everyone say the same as you, it took time but as you say so good now. I have been out in SAMs new R class and that was silky

Since you last went out in it Malc, i have done the adaptions as well as the software up-date that uncle is talking about! it better than my last one now! It takes a little time spent to set them up but once done!!!!
