Toyota Recall the Prius (again)

So much for green efficiency, it must have cost a lot of energy to wrongly produce so many parts. But just the thought of a "green" car makes those tree huggers go all goose pimply.

Recently took a taxi in Manchester - a Prius - 275,000 miles and no issues, owner said he would definitely buy another one.

All stems from the fear of "class action" lawsuits in America. Once it's public over there -its difficult for Toyota to keep "the lid on it" worldwide. I don't anticipate Toyota components are much different in quality to other volume manufacturers? Perhaps its because the Americans insist on a certain percentage "local content."
