When I purchased my car it came with the service book showing FMBSH plus the old MOTs, but not the chits and invoices from each service.
If I have a service history book full of Main Dealer stamps, is anyone aware whether its possible to obtain copies of the actual invoices or whatever that would detail the work carried out / parts fitted at each service?
If so, do I need to contact each individual Dealer that carried out the service, or is there a centralised MB database that would enable my local Dealer to help (or I write to MB UK).
I have written to the previous owner asking if they had this level of detail and offering to pay for it if they had, but alas, no reply.
Keen to find out more as this may give me some indication as to when wear & tear items (brakes/exhaust etc.) were last changed so I can budget for future services.
