My Daughters car has a Transmission leak. If my husband changes the plastic housing that holds the electrical connections to the transmission will it leak fluid when he takes it out?

Yes once the bush is removed it can leak some AT fluid so make sure you have a tray to catch what comes out, it wont be much but top up with fresh ATF once new bush is fitted also clean the plug as this will have oil inside.

    Hi,
Had mine changed, you will lose fluid but not much, the amount i lost was minimised because the car was jacked up on one side which limited the amount of oil that came out, I caught what came out and put the same amount of new ATF back in the gearbox.
