I'm booked in at www.birdsauto.co.uk next week to have the Carlsson one fitted a bit more expensive than most but an impressive pedigree...

I posted in the 'General'Section, I've posted quite a bit of info and advice from a tuning company. See Here

I can comment on the "Tuning Box" from Belgium (thats where I think it is made and there is a distributor in Westmeath Ireland).
Its made my April 03 ML270 bearable to drive (although I still find issue with the comfort, ride, build quality and rattly diesel), without the tuning box it was an absolute slug !
I agree with their claims of an additional 25% more power, its been a very worthwhile addition, MPG does seem to suffer, I dont seem to get more than 450miles (25.4MPG) out of a tank of diesel (and Ive got a big tank, ie £62-£65 to fill up, which puts it on a par with my 1998 Ford Explorer. Only my Ford Explorer was only 20% of the cost of the ML, just as fast, just as comfortable, better ride and will suffer much less depreciation
