Seems to be loads of tuning options for E320cdi (e211). Whats the best option. After owning a Subaru Impreza STI Prodrive (305bhp) I miss the power but can remember more than a few diesel Mercs having a go.

Give your local MB dealer a call. I think that they can offer a Brabus upgrade on the 320cdi

I've got the Brabus PowerExtra D6 for this engine in mine. Brings the total hp to 272 (see my other thread about the outcome).

very happy so far and MPG has increased!

It was horrendously thirsty! 18mpg at best. Usually 15mpg or so. Great fun though. Prefer the Merc by a mile!!

Hi AnthUK,

I've just made the jump to a CLK320 CDI Sport from a MY05 Impreza STI PPP, just picked up my CLK on Saturday. Had my fun in the Subaru but no regrets in getting the Merc as this is just a different league. :)

I'm quite impressed with the kick the Merc has, think it would have given my Subaru some serious trouble for mid-range accelaration. Yep 15 -18mpg was standard for me too with it.

Absolutely love the Merc though :)

Hi jubhi.

Agreed. Once you have driven a Merc there is no going back. Would love another Scoob if I could afford it in addition to the Merc. Sadly that ain't gonna happen!

I had a GSXR600 trying to follow me through mid-Wales last week. I'm not remapping mine as I can do enough damage as it is.... Too easy to drive so very fast is unfortunately no excuse as far as Burgstrom is concerned :-(
