Turbo actuator repair suggestions (V6 CDI)

Hello
A few months ago W251 (280 CDI 4 Matic) started to go into limp mode.Initially it was very rare but now it is happening every day.I took my local indie garage and got following code
2510 check component y77/1 boost pressure regulator signal fault (current)

I did a bit of research and found out that it is likely to be a turbo actuator problem which looks like a common fault.http://www.ecutesting.com/mercedes_e220__e270___e320_tur.html
As far as I am aware of it is not supplied alone brand new and I have to buy a new turbo or it needs to be repaired.

If I need it ,is there any place anyone could recommend for that sort of job?
Or generally speaking am on the right track to solve the problem?

Many thanks in advance.

Have seen this very same fault many times, most time it is the actuator but it can also be a couple of other things, last one we had in like this, turned out to be the inlet port shut of motor, no codes only the above like you have, you have to be sure and test everything and not trust the codes who have at hand........

You can buy the actuator on its own, we use a company in the new forest, forget there name now but have it at work if you need it......

Thanks for your quick reply.
I have been planning to check actual turbo (vanes etc) and EGR valve; added inlet port shut of motor to my list.
