turbo diesel Unit power loss!

Hi Everyone - well, following on from my post's this morning in relation to my car all of a sudden lost power......well i called out the merc recovery to look and it has brought up a few faults:

1) apparently the turbo diesel unit or something is 2 bars lower?? fault code 0105-001: Check component B5/1 (charge pressure sensor). This signal voltage is too high. & 1636-004: check component M4/7 (Engine and AC electric suction fan with integrated control) Signal wire OPEN CIRCUIT.

Ok So ... the engineer said that I may have to buy a new turbo diesel unit in excess of £1,000 not inc labour..! Is there any advice on this? He said it may be able to be cleaned ..... any ideas on stuff I can use ? isit possible i can drive around and it may not happen again?

we've had it that the wastegate has siezed up as on new cars the actuators are controlled by vacum not boost and are more variable but are not as powerful so the actuator could be siezed partially open and you'd get a low pressure fault code.. Worth a look.

Also, he mentioned something about 3 sensors needing to be replaced! ? codes P2400 - P2404.

THE RIGHT REAR WHEEL RPM SIGNAL SENT FROM THE TRACTION SYSTEMS VIA CAN BUS IS IMPLAUSIBLE?

this also is the cae for the other wheels........ im not sure what to do.....:-(

Personally I would get a second opinion. the faults you are quoting will show up on a first hook up to the diagnostic machine. and will come up on some of the other aftermarket branded machines ..one thing u can do is check your turbo intercooler system for leakage. ..
